Friends of Give and Surf,
I am happy to share with you information about my non-profit volunteer organization Give and Surf in the islands of Bocas del Toro, Panama. We are interested in hosting yourself and volunteers from your college at some point in the future. We feel very fortunate to work with an indigenous Ngobe Indian community on the following initiatives; water catchment installations, educational programs, playground/community constructions, and much more.
Please view our website at giveandsurf.org for more information on who we are, our volunteer program, and what to expect when volunteering with us in paradise. If you have a volunteer resource center or website where I can provide students with information please feel free to post our website or contact me. I also welcome the opportunity to visit your campus and discuss our organization with you in person.
Please feel free to contact me personally with any questions at email@example.com.
Hope you can join us,

The Children and Youth AmeriCorps*VISTA Project of Northwestern Pennsylvania is pleased to announce its search for an AmeriCorps*VISTA Leader. The Children and Youth project is a collaborative effort of Allegheny College, Edinboro University, Gannon University, and Mercyhurst College, spanning both Crawford and Erie Counties, which are located in “the chimney” of Pennsylvania. The mission of the project is to reduce poverty for under-served children and youth by mobilizing college students as volunteers in partnering community organizations.

It is time again to recruit some kid-loving nature nerds!
We are taking applications for counselors for this summer.
- The 1st week is June 6-10. The 2nd is June 13-17.
- A few meetings for training will be scheduled. Also the Saturday before, during and after camp are mandatory for preparation.
- Must be outgoing, able and love to explore nature with children. This involves getting dirty, sweaty, bug bites, holding critters and a whole lot more!
- Counselors’ hours are from 8am-1ish. On Friday we have a family picnic so our day could be until 4 pm.
- We have Sr. and Jr. counselor paid positions available. Education and experience would be helpful.
- Floaters are also needed. This is volunteer based. Great for past campers or nature nerd teens that need something to do.
- There will be 4 teams, each with 10 campers. A Sr and Jr counselor will be leading a team. Guiding them on hikes, canoeing, tree climbing, building a fort (secrete hideout), attending the educational programs provided and modeling, safety, good sportsmanship and of course respect for our earth!
If you or someone you know can help teach our future generations to love and respect the wonders of nature then please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
